Beautifully decorate papers with Jacky Purtill in the morning to use for stunning mixed media collage in the afternoon with Rachel Davis.

Part 1: 11 am - 1:30 pm. Creating decorative collage papers.

During the morning session you will create some beautiful handmade and embellished collage papers with artist Jacky Purtill.

Explore using a variety of mark making tools, stencils, stamps, paint, ink and pens to create unique decorative papers. The papers will be used with artist Rachel Davis in the afternoon session to create stunning paper collage floral artwork.

Part 2: 2 pm - 4:30 pm. Use your decorative papers to build your piece of mixed media artwork.

The afternoon session is an opportunity to use some of the unique, handmade papers created in the morning session with Jacky. Rachel will guide you through planning an engaging composition, balancing layers and patterns and ways to incorporate drawn and painted elements.
