SELF PORTRAIT

For Neal, art has always been a passion of his and something he excelled at from a young age. For him each piece from concept to creation, the journey though sometimes arduous is always rewarding. He is inspired by the environment, history of art and emotion.
Neal finds it important to approach each work to be a unique relationship between the artist, the subject and his chosen medium. Although this may impede a cohesive, distinctive artistic language, it does create a more intimate, fresh and personal body of work.
Neal has been involved in group exhibitions: nationally and internationally as well as appearing two editions of an independent publishers book 'The Artist Eye' where in one edition his artwork was selected to be the front cover. Neal is also proudly one of the artists with the 'Brush Buffoons' and pop up gallery 'That Gallery'.
Neal will also have his first solo show at the Willis Museum in September.
