Georgina Bouzyk

Georgina Bouzyk is a guest artist, taking part in the Hampshire Open Studio's event in 2023.

Georgina's oil paintings are inspired by the light, mood and atmosphere of landscapes. They grew up in the Cotswolds, studied Fine Art and History of Art at Aberystwyth University, and are now based in Pangbourne with their time spent both teaching art and developing their practice as an artist.

Georgina has a passion for hiking and the outdoors and this is captured in their work, where they aim to capture the innate quality of the landscape. Georgina's work ranges from plein air sketches and paintings, capturing the marks and quality of the light, to sustained large oil paintings in the studio.
